Malmö Arena installed Inis entry phone with touch screen. Visitors can now choose which company they plan to visit by clicking on the touch-screen wall mounted at the entrance. Different companies have offices in the building, from a bank to a surgical clinic.

When a visitor touch a logo, a department or names of staff is displayed. The system makes a IP-phonecall to the hosts’ mobile or fixed phones. More information about this product will be available soon.

Vasakronan has conducted tests with Inis Office Check In. The test has been successful and Vasakronan now handle visitors outside the perimeter protection area. The Inis Office Check In system is right outside the elevators and visitors can reach their host or the office receptionists easily.

The German logistics giant, which owns DHL, requested a visitor management system that could improve the flow, level of service and security to their facilities. In competition with other players Deutsche Post chose Inis Office Check-In, a solution that offers self-service throughout the visitors process – from admission to check out. The system calls the host and performs the full function of a manned reception. The system prints a bar-coded badge, which gives the guest access to a particular part of a building where the meeting will take place.

The future of reception areas

Customer lounges like this may be staffed during peak hours if needed or totally unmanned with the help of a modern visitor management system. A visitor who comes in early, can use that time to do some work, answer mails and prepare for a presentation for instance.  When it’s time to get in touch with the host,  the visitor uses Inis Office Check In  and a call will be made from the system to the host. A voice will say “You have a visitor, press 1 to confirm or 2 to pass or 3 to speak to your visitor.

“When the visitor is confirmed by the host using touchtones on the phone,  he/she is then asked to sign in with name and company details. A personalized welcome message is then displayed on the touch-screen and the visitor badge is printed.

Buttons for visitors and deliverys

Gambro in Lund rebuilt their reception area recently. This very novative reception is totally unmanned and very modern in its design. The Inis Office Check In system is has been used for more than two years by now. Before that, the reception area was manned in a more traditional way. The screen displays logos and company names. By clicking on a logo, the name list of all personnel that are searchable will show. Click on a name and the host is called. It could be on his/her fixed phone or cell. So you can anywhere when you receive the IP-calls.

Inis Facility Check In

The sound is exceptionally good for both visitors and hosts, and by using a touchtone on your phone it allows you to speak with the visitor and then open the door if you want to.

The screen is of reinforced glass and the interface is incredibly smoth looking and easy to use.
